Since opening her eponymous salon in 2008, Patrice Vinci has surrounded herself with an experienced team of accomplished stylists. Awards and accolades from Elle, Allure, The Improper Bostonian, and Boston Magazine line the walls of her Newbury Street space.
Trained in the legendary parametrics hair cutting system, Patrice received extensive color training from Wella, Redken, and Schwarzkopf. While in Los Angeles, she learned the art of balayage from some of the industry's top celebrity artists. Committed to continuing education, Patrice frequently travels the country to attend industry conferences and master classes to learn the latest trends in fashion, beauty, and style.
In 2003 Patrice won “Best Hair on the Red Carpet” at the Toronto Film Festival. This accolade launched her celebrity styling career and she has since worked with many actors for red carpet events. Vinci is now the go-to colorist for motion picture and television shooting on location in New England as well as Boston's famed Huntington Theater. In addition, she has led the hair department during the NBC/Universal Upfronts for the past decade. Many local and national celebrities, politicians, and socialites frequently call upon her for personal appearances and important events. Patrice continues to receive awards for her work, most recently winning “Best Balayage 2016” from Boston Magazine, “Best Chic Pixie Cut” from The Boston Herald, and “Best Colorist 2017” from Boston Magazine.
Patrice’s playful personality and laidback demeanor endear her to her devoted clientele, while her ongoing awards continue to bring in new faces. She credits much of her success to a love of the arts and the talented people that surround her.
