With generations of hair styling in his genes, Master Stylist Stephen S. Bruno wasted little time in becoming a trained stylist on Newbury Street at the age of 17. Today, Bruno is a revered presence on The Street with dozens of movie and television projects to his styling credit.
Stephen is the only Newbury Street stylist that works on major motion pictures. Bruno credits his accomplishments to the start he received at John Dellaria; his career was just starting to bud when he spent three weeks in New York and one week in Boston. Through John Dellaria, Stephen launched his film career on The Crucible with Daniel Day Lewis.
Stephen’s family tradition in hair and styling began when his grandmother cut hair in her native Naples, Italy, and received payment in cured meats and wine. His aunt gifted him a pair of cutting shears on the day he turned 16, and almost four decades later, Bruno has established himself as a highly respected, influential presence at Patrice Vinci Salon.
Delighted to share what he has learned, Bruno is equally passionate about teaching, working with clients, and signing onto the latest film/entertainment project.
